Coming up!  Fulltone SS-TE....solid state tape echo ala the infamous EP-3 used by Page, EJ, etc.

I get #1, Page gets #2, EJ gets #3...what # will yours be?

Part of what makes the TTE so expensive is all the Nickel plated and Stainless steel everything parts, with this "EP-3" I'm going to try and make it less-frills, simpler package, smaller size, I'm trying to go SMALL.  looking to have a street price around $550-$600 but I don't dictate that, the tally of parts, labor, and misc does

UPDATE 11/04/2009

Fulltone SSTE (Solid State Tape Echo)

*100% original EP-3 FET/Transistor Audio Path, run at 24 volts, the only way to the EP-3 sound.
*8.75" x 5.6" x 3.25" diecast aluminum enclosure, (1/3 smaller than it's big brother the TTE)
*Relay operated true bypass (externally switchable via 1/4" jack) No sound loss, unlimited On/Off switch cable length!
*Electronic Servo controlled Capstan Roller (engages tape drive) operated by both on-board toggle or switch externally via 1/4" jack (again, any length cable) for when you want the EP-3 signal path without the delay
*Stereo outputs
*Power: 120 volt AC mains (detachable IEC 3-prong connector) with 24 volt DC internal operation.

Controls:
*Instrument Volume knob: Allows for unity or an increased Volume Boost.
*Echo Repeats knob
*Echo Time Knob (instead of a sliding head, variable motor speed determines delay time) offering a wider range of speeds from Plate Reverb emulation to well over 2 seconds. and you can still do the wild Echoplex spaceship sounds with ths knob.
*Multiple Playback heads for some of the most amazing Leslie/Chorus/Vibrato sounds I've ever heard and Polyrhythmic delay sounds.

what is a Wahfull® and why on earth would you want one?

How do you know when you're serious about ((stereo)) Chorus, Flange, and Vibrato? When you make your own chip, that's how ! CFV-2...stereo Chorus Flange Vibrato all in one, for 2010 release.

(TRUE-STEREO VIBRACHORUS)) TM

I developed my ((TRUE-STEREO VIBRACHORUS)) TM originally in 1996, although I only made a few.  Of note, Southern Tracks  recording studio bought one (still in service) in 1998 and have 1 in my studio. I will probably come out with a production version when i get a spare moment....what's that?

Mine has  STEREO  IN's and OUT's, bridgeable via switch to MONO IN, STEREO OUT. Choice of Gold Plated contact relay electronic true bypass  or "cancel" via a shared stereo 1/4" jack. True Stereo Vibrato ala nothing you've ever heard, because while the vibrato on one output is bending UP, the other output is bending down.

1) Vibrato I (outputs IN phase)

2) Vibrato II (outputs OUT of phase...sounds like the amps just jumped apart another 20 feet

3) Tremolo I (outputs IN phase)

4) Tremolo II (outputs OUT of phase...sounds like the amps just jumped apart another 20 feet.

5) Chorale VIBE I (outputs IN phase)

7) Chorale VIBE II (outputs OUT of phase...sounds like the amps just jumped apart another 20 feet

here's a blurry WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO  tour of it  from 2006

The Fulltone Tri-Stereo-ChorusTM will be available in  Rackmount version

5/13/08  due to lack of interest, this project has been temporarily scrapped. 100 or so interested people doesn't justify a $175,000+ investment .. It's all yours Chuck ,hope you do better than your first try

Why doesn't the definitive ABY exist? (except for on my pedalboard) first, let's mull over the problem with ABY boxes! If there was a perfect ABY it might be called the Truepath A-B-Y TM
