Update 6-22-2010! FINALLY! I have negoatiated the purchase of a batch of the same Fat-Body (stamped NKT275) Transistors I used in my favorite era Fulltone 69 pedals...1994-1997. They're raping me on the price, but I don't care, I LOVE the sound, and clean-up-ability of these. So it looks like i'll be able to build a small run of (same ole large box) 69 pedals after all. The Ultimate Fuzz face ain't about Mojo...it's ALL bout the transistors and matching them correctly, and that's my thing;)
6/07/09 This
pedal has been discontinued due to the unavailability of decent
sounding transistors. Nobody's making them anymore. If I find a good batch, I'll build more, if not, have fun
with the used ones, I had fun making them for 15 years so there are
plenty out there..

This is how you
wished your Fuzzface sounded... Fat and Harmonic.
And it cleans up like a vintage Fender amp when you turn down
your guitar's volume control. The Rolling Stones and the Black
Crowes have discovered this trick.

this for info on NKT275 transistors
If you love the
first 2 Hendrix releases then you'll love this pedal, with 2 Germanium transistors hand-picked and tested
for optimum performance. A Contour Knob lets you dial in Midrange,
Harmonics and Sustain, also an Input Bias knob that takes out
the "woofiness" and gives great Overdrive/Distortion
sounds when its level is reduced. An Internal Trimmer
allows for adjustment of Clipping Symmetry, Harmonics,
and Tracking.

True-Bypass w/LED
is standard equipment to preserve tone when the pedal is off!
